Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for lash extensions?
Lash extensions require some extra TLC, as well as some daily maintenance. Extensions must be cleansed and brushed daily, as well as book regular fills every 2 to 3 weeks.

Clients must be able to lay down for 1 to 3 hours at a time, with their eyes closed and minimal movement or talking.

Picking or rubbing at lash extensions may cause premature shedding, and could potentially lead to damage to the natural lashes.

Clients must avoid sleeping on their stomach as to not cause premature shedding to the extensions. It is ideal to sleep on one's back or with a silk or satin pillowcase (this is also better for skin and hair).

Those who have thyroid or hormone problems, excessively oily skin, or on certain medications may not be candidates for lash extensions. In some cases, pregnancy or women postpartum affected lash retention as well.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid caffeine within 2 hours of your lash appointment. This is your time to relax and unwind. Please feel free to bring headphones during your appointment as well.

Avoid makeup or moisturizers and oils around the eye area so that the under eye pads will not come off during the appointment.

Absolutely NO eye makeup. If you choose to wear makeup to your appointment, you will be asked to cleanse your lashes prior to starting your appointment. This will accrue a $5 lash bath charge and cut into the appointment time.

Give yourself extra time for traffic. There is limited parking at the studio, so leave a few extra minutes to find a spot!
What do I have to do for aftercare?
The most important part for excellent retention is to cleanse your lashes daily with an extension safe cleanser. This does NOT include baby shampoo, castille soap, Dr. Bronner's, cetaphil, etc. Make sure to cleanse especially after excessive sweating or crying.

Avoid oils or emollient creams and makeup around the eye area.

Absolutely NO mascara over lash extensions. You may choose to wear it on the bottom lashes, however over time it will transfer to the top lashes.

Brush lashes daily with spoolie, however do not do so while they are wet. You may use your blow dryer on the cool setting to fluff them up after cleansing, then follow with the spoolie.
What is the cancellation policy?
Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time will be charged 50% of the service. Appointments cancelled the day of will be charged 100% of the service.

All no show appointments will be charged 100% of the service cost.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash or card as well as Venmo and Zelle, and payment is due at the time of service. Credit cards on file are required to book an appointment for lash extensions.
Should I tip?
This is entirely up to you! Lashes are a luxury and personal service similar to getting your hair or nails done. A tip is always greatly appreciated but never required or expected.
